Stop

Yes, this is for real. No, it is not a scam. These companies actually pay enough money for you to try their services, that they can give away iPods, Mac minis, etc. I am happily typing this on the Mac mini I got earlier this summer

  • Video Professor Online is free to signup, and only requires a CC. Cancel after you get credit.
  • The Consumer Info credit report is also easy. You give them all your info, you get a credit report, and credit is instant. You do have to call and cancel the service though, otherwise you get charged monthly.
  • The Napster offer is completely painless, and free, but requires a credit card and Windows.
  • Blockbuster Online costs $9.95, but you get credit instantly and you get 3 movies.
  • eFax is evil, you have to become a paying member. avoid.
  • FreeBidding is a terrible site, but you get credit in 24 hours.
  • The smiley face "Free Credit Report" is evil. Avoid.
