Market, Economy, Crisis Etc

I sat down to write a post about the economic situation. And then I realized I have nothing worthwhile to add to the discourse. Everything going on in the global economy is so far out of spec no one has any frame to discuss this. I’m not going to try. Go read Big Picture or something.

All I know is one thing: Filthy, disgustingly huge fortunes are made in times like this.

    I’d suggest reading the Freakonomics blog as well. Sometimes, you just need some help with the big picture to formulate a position or hypothesis. Investing can very much be like scientific inquiry. Hypothesis, test, observe, repeat.
