Jeremy and I have gone through some interesting and trying times. When these times come up I am always very negative and try to imagine all the worst possible outcomes. Without fail, Jeremy is optimistic and has repeated over and over again to me “Adversity brings opportunity.” I’ll never forget the first time he told me that. He was right in a big, big way. There have been several other times, and he has been right every time.
I have a friend going through some trying times and that mantra just keeps coming back to me. Adversity forces you to step back and look at things from a different angle. You never know what could happen when you’re forced to make a change.
Don’t fight it, embrace it. You never know.

That was lovely Dave.
I have rubbed elbows with those that have done hard time, and those who have won the Nobel Prize, billionaires and beggars, young and old, runway models, movie actresses, and lunch ladies.
The only, only thing that mattered always ended up being their viewpoint.
Everything physical around is is fleeting and temporary but you as a spiritual being are eternal!
Enjoy the day my friend!
Much Love,
dk
For what it is worth, this what I believe:
You can either view failure and setbacks as embarrassing, something be worried about what people think, or you can see it as part of the learning curve, another step closer to success. (The first group makes up of 98% of the population, and is the same group that embraces the status quo and even might be believed to “want” you to fail)
David, I forget who said it but I have always reminded myself that ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’.
Kanye West (and some dude name Nietzsche). You can either evolve or not…
