Not quite year of 2000 days. If you're holding sound companies you'll be fine long term. It is hard to train yourself not to care on these kind of days though. Booze helps. So does exercise. Best of all, don't look at your portfolio for a few days or even a week. These kind of choppy markets always work themselves out sooner or later. Reading "The Intelligent Investor" by Benjamin Graham (in particular the chapter about market fluctuations) is helpful in times like these.
